CC + Zack | A Golden Hour Engagement at Glenn Acres Farm in Columbia, Missouri

This engagement session is by far one of my absolute favorites! The chemistry between the couple, the perfect golden light, and the beautiful farm all played a huge part in making these photos magical. I am forever thankful to have made a lasting impression on my friends’ love story and create something beautiful for them to cherish for years to come!

I first met this couple in the fall of 2018 through a connection with my husband. He and CC both attend the college of veterinary medicine at Mizzou, and after a few interactions with each other, formed a hunting and fishing partnership with Zack. Soon after that, I was introduced to the two and they quickly became our great friends!

When Zack asked CC to marry him over winter break, we were so excited for the happy couple, and I was even more excited when they reached out to me for engagement photos in the spring. I was just starting up my business and just knew this was going to be an epic turning point – and it was! These two are naturals when it comes to posing and were so easy-going that it made my job easy!

We started the evening at Glenn Acres in Columbia. This place holds a special place in both CC and Zack’s hearts. CC boards her horse, Punchy, at the stables and Zack actually works as a ranch hand for the farm owners. Oh, and not to mention that this place used to actually be a wedding venue! *Insert heart eyes* After riding around the property to find great locations, we settled for the pasture that CC’s horse stays in most of his time, a cedar grove, and the beautiful lake in the middle of the property. When I say GORGEOUS, I mean GORGEOUS. Everything about this session was amazing.

Below are some of my favorite images of the session.
