This summer proposal at Big Cedar Lodge was so very special to me, and I am so excited that I get to share it with you all! My BROTHER proposed to his girlfriend in the most magical place on earth: the Garden Chapel at Big Cedar Lodge. This is such a sentimental place to my family as it has been our yearly vacation spot for as long as I can remember. I am so very thankful that I was able to capture this moment for Houston and Jerrison.

A Summer Proposal at Big Cedar Lodge

It was a warm summer day in July when two families joined together to celebrate the engagement of Houston to Jerrison. Houston led a blindfolded Jerrison up a steep hill to the Garden Chapel where he then got down on one knee and popped the most important question. Jerrison said a big YES of course and we celebrated the two that night.

The chapel was so beautiful with all the lush greenery around it. The fountain spraying in the wind was also a neat touch to their photos! I love how Houston and Jerrison coordinated their outfits. The blue looks so good against all the green in the area.

Houston and Jerrison, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You two are precious together and I’m so excited to be gaining a sister. I can’t wait to see you continue to grow together!
