Kaitlin + Casey | Columbia, Missouri Wedding at Nifong Park | Hannah Carr Photography

I am so excited to share this Columbia, Missouri wedding at Nifong Park with you today! When Kaitlin reached out to me in January about taking bride and groom photos in the fall to celebrate her and Casey’s union, I was so excited to work with them. There is something so special about seeing a couple committing their lives to one another in the union of marriage. The feeling of insurmountable joy and love between a couple, and getting to witness it first hand, is absolutely heart warming.

Columbia, Missouri Wedding at Nifong Park

Nifong Park is an absolutely breathtaking place for portraits, especially in the fall with all of the color-changing maple trees! When Kaitlin told me that they were getting married in the Maplewood Barn, I was so excited! There is so much potential for photographs on the property, and I just couldn’t wait. Usually in the middle of October, the weather is very much fall-like and the maple trees are well on their way to being at their peek in color. Unfortunately, this year was a little later in the color changing department, but we still got amazing images of the beautiful couple.

We started the afternoon with an intimate first-look by the Maplewood Historic House. Shortly after this, we took their bride and groom portraits. Y’all, I am absolutely obsessed with Kait’s dress. Look at the backing! And how dapper is Casey in his suit!? My absolute favorite part of all the portraits is that Kait incorporated all of the grandparents into her bouquet. AND she had personalized cuff links made for her father. (don’t mind me as I shed a tear remembering how sweet this was!) The ceremony was beautifully conducted by one of Kait’s best friends, and the happy couple was embraced by so many people who loved them.

To the Barberos, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You are both so sweet, and it was an absolute honor to be a part of your big day. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!

Enjoy this little peak into this sweet wedding!
