Sarah Howser | Downtown Columbia Senior Session | Hannah Carr Photography

I’m so excited to share this Downtown Columbia senior session with you today! When Sarah reached out about senior photos, I was so happy to get to work with her! Y’all, I just LOVE and LIVE for senior sessions; there’s just something so special about them! I love how creative they allow me to be, and I love how each one is different – even if the same locations are used! No senior session is ever the same. I just love when I get to meet a teen, learn their interests, and create beautiful images that capture their personality to a T; it makes me so happy!

Downtown Columbia Senior Session

Sarah is a 2022 graduating high school senior from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia! She loves playing tennis and being involved in yearbook! To say her senior session was a good one is an understatement. It was a fantastic one! The weather was incredible and the locations definitely matched her attitude and personality.

We spent the first half of her session at the Boone County Courthouse, using their white washed stone walls as a gorgeous backdrop for her outfits. We also utilized their landscaping and railings for some edgy portraits. Sarah had mentioned loving walking poses in her senior questionnaire, so I made sure to incorporate these into her session as well!

After this, we went to Shelter Gardens where we caught some golden sunlight with some flowers to capture portraits of her more sweet and subtle personality. This even included putting Sarah into bushes! It was a little awkward at the time, she said, but they turned out amazing!

Sarah, thank you for trusting me to capture these sweet memories for you! Congratulations on being in your senior year of high school! May it be the best year yet, and I wish you luck in your future endeavors!

I hope you all enjoy this little sneak peek into Sarah’s senior session:
